Qatar delivers medical supplies to Nepal within 48 hours of King's direction

Qatar Airways carrying medical appliances and kits gifted to Nepal by Qatar for the test and treatment of COVID-19 landed today. The wide body airplane had arrived Kathmandu with the most-essential medical materials. 

The aircraft of Qatar Airways had arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) carrying eight tons of medical supplies aided to Nepal by Qatari Shekh Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani this afternoon. 

TIA's general manager Devendra KC shared that qatar airplane importing medical aids returned to their respective destination today itself. The medical assistance was handed over to Minister of State for Health and Population Nawaraj Rawat by the ambassadors of the concerned country, KC said. 

Qatari ambassador for Nepal Yousuf Bin Mohamed –Al Hail handed different 14 types of medical materials brought from Qatar at the airport. The aided materials include 7,000 PPE, PCR test kits, N-95 masks, VTM, CRT machine, surgical gloves, oxygen plant and mobile ambulance with laboratory. 

Taj Mohammad Miya, muslim leader of CPN, and ex chairman of haj committee has expressed his gratitude and thanked qatar government for this help. Shekh tamim bin hamad, king of Qatar had ordered to supply medical equipment to various countries including Nepal only  a day ago. link http://bizpati.com/international/36730
