Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha ltd.(GLBBS) is a rising micro finance institution in eastern Nepal providing access to finance to more than 11,000 poor, landless, discarded and marginalized members in 10 districts through 26 branches across province-1. GLBBS received micro finance banking license from the Nepal Rastra bank, Central bank of Nepal in 2073/ 07/2. And company registration office in 2073/02/02. GLBBS provides standard, reliable and sustainable financial services to the poor and marginalized members. It strives to promote saving, encourages income generation, self-employment, supports agriculture and micro–enterprises development, social awareness and provide social security. Gurans started providing financial services with paid up capital of NRs 2 Crore. Now the amount has increase to NRs 7.75 crore by May 2019. GLBBS is lead by 24 core promoter shareholders along with general public shareholder after IPO.
