Nepal Clearing House Ltd (NCHL) and OnePoint Financial Services Pvt. Ltd (OnePoint) have joined hands to facilitate BFIs of Nepal for enabling their digital services. The MOU was signed by Mr. Pratap Shrestha, CEO & Founder of OnePoint and Mr. Neelesh Man Singh Pradhan, CEO of NCHL.
NCHL has been providing various payment systems and channels for its member BFIs and Indirect/ Technical members along with integration middleware between NCHL’s systems or channels and BFI’s core banking system. And, OnePoint has developed API Management Solution (APIMS) and provided to its clientele BFIs to enable communication channel for external services. NCHL and OnePoint have now collaborated to jointly support the BFIs while introducing new services and use cases including cross border payment and related services whereby OnePoint will non-exclusively support the BFIs developing and exposing needed APIs for NCHLs products/ services.
The collaboration is expected to accelerate integration of NCHL’s products/services with the BFIs, whereas the BFIs will benefit from quicker time-to-market for such products/services.
